- Our
21st anniversary outing. Weather generally fair but gales round Nairn
West. Tricky! Dinner at Golf View first night. Gone downhill over 21
years! Frank and Graham do usual sleeping acts. Malcolm not impressed
by Frank's snoring. Olympics rowing weekend. John's birthday on Saturday
night. It's a "thong" Steuart! Superb new club house at Nairn West.

Malcolm not present. Lucky him as tipping with rain! Great course. Quiet
night before the big event. Bob asleep at 10.30 p.m.!
Friday
Good weather and course. Clubhouse/Shack poor. John scores 41 points
in the p.m. to head Leaderboard. Malcolm and John bet £100 that "caddie
getting lift" rule will be abolished. Malcolm says it will - John
says not. Good food and wine except limited supply of latter.
Saturday
Lynedoch course a.m. spectacular holes. Not however for regular golf.
Big course p.m. Good weather and Clubhouse. Bob injured for p.m. round
- ends up having to watch Scotland beat Ireland! Dinner again excellent
but hotel again ran out of our wine. Where are the trophies?
