Superb weather for whole weekend. Malcolm got his priorities all wrong and left early to get home for the office dance. Match with representatives of Surrey Ladies on Saturday afternoon. Campbell and George stopped from leaving hotel without paying - big argument!

Sunday morning race to Whitby the Society's home course. Campbell managed to hit the wrong ball - twice - belonging to the same person each time.

Not the greatest golf course in the world! A new course and bordered by the Al. Very noisy and air full of fumes. Nice hotel and facilities. Very poor quality snooker. Very good weather.

The best outing so far?

Weather very bad - so bad that forced to drink Rusty Nails from Bob's flask on the course. Robin refused! Bob had the cheek to score 5 points on the 18th at Nairn West and go on to win the trophy in his first outing. Met Kirkcaldy group at Saturday Dinner Dance. How many bottles of Rioja? Malcolm's dancing filmed for posterity. Poetry recital from next table. Graham disappears only to reappear outside the window.
